Description

Where can you find a dozen of the funniest women on the wackiest coast all gathered together in one room? In the wackiest place of them all — Eugene. Okay, Springfield — it's just a few minutes from wacky!

Returning this year is our headliner, the wickedly funny Susan Rice. Susan has been performing for more than 25 years and has appeared on national shows such as A&E's "An Evening At The Improv," HBO's "Comedy Central," ShowTime's "Comedy Club Network," and CBS's "Pat Sajak Show." She also has headlined at comedy clubs around the country and on cruises.

Some of the other comedians on the line-up include Virginia Jones, finalist in Portland's 2007 Amateur Comedy Competition and Comedy Knockout; Sharon Lacey, who recently returned from entertaining our troops in Kuwait and Iraq; JeanAnn O'Brien, founder of the Divine Order of the Ha Ha Sisterhood; Rylee Newton, who has appeared on Comedy Central and written jokes for Hollywood Squares; Lisa Myers, who recently performed alongside Robin Williams; Leigh Anne Jasheway, former host of Women Under the Influence of Laughter and winner of the Erma Bombeck humor award; and The Freerange Chix, a musical comedy group who have also collaborated with Leigh Anne on an upcoming musical called Busting Out (yes, it's about boobs).

This year's venue is the Wildish Theater, located at 630 Main Street in Springfield, Oregon. The theater holds 280 and there is plenty of parking nearby.

Tickets are $25 each. Wine and chocolate will be available for sale at the event during the social half hour from 6:30 – 7:00 p.m. Bring your own Depends.
